The *.cc file is a compressed file and is stored in the hard disk of SRU.
The *.cc file contains software packets of all boards. When a board starts up, it
downloads its software packets from SRU board to its memory.

After the SRU starts up, the configuration management
module reads configuration commands from the
configuration files and then recover the configuration
one after one.
In the configuration files, the commands related to
interfaces cannot run immediately. The commands are
stored and start to run after the corresponding interface
board successfully registers.

- 36. Configure the FTP Server
A. Copy the software to FTP server
The host software files are saved in the directory D:GGSN9811 of
the FTP server (LMT). If you store the software in other directory,
you should set that directory as the working directory of FTP user.
The *.XML files are description files for the host software version.
When you upload the host software, these three files must be
saved to the same root directory of the FTP server as the
GGSN9811V900R007ENGC××B×××*.cc file and the BAM folder.

Generally, the software load command is executed before the
software is activated. This is to ensure that the user can forcibly load
the software at a proper time. The software can be activated later to
shorten the activation duration.
This is optional step, you can run software active, then GGSN will
load the software to LPU and SPU, and reset the board automatically
