  • 17. Project Presentation ➢ 25-50 slides ➢ 10 specific bibliographic sources ➢ Visual presentation using pictures, graphics, and cartoons on legal topic.
  • 18. Project Presentation ➢ Share knowledge of school law with colleagues ➢ Evaluated using the following criteria: 1.conformity with instructions (10%) 2.content accuracy (30%) 3.visual effectiveness (20%) 4.logical order of presentation (20%) 5. mechanics of language (20%).

Project Presentation You will probably lose points if: ➢ No Agenda/Overview of Presentation Slide ➢ No Conclusion/Wrap up Slide ➢ Sentences vs. phrases ➢ Not Compelling/Interesting/Why is this topic important to the group you are presenting? ➢ Too much text on slide ➢ Do not include 10 references ➢ Too Few Visuals
  • 21. Project Presentation You will probably lose points if: ➢ References are same size as slide text (if at bottom of page) ➢ Content not well organized. ➢ Topic not directly related to school law ➢ Posing questions and not answering them ➢ No Reference slides at end
  • 22. Project Presentation You will probably lose points if: ➢ Do not conform to instructions ➢ Content is not accurate ➢ Not visually effective ➢ There is no logical order of presentation ➢ Poor language mechanics

Final Review Will Cover Entire Semester: Essex Chapters 1 -14 • Identification questions minimum 2 sentences and well written (25 about ¼ pt each). • Case Scenarios- well written -highlight the legal aspects and what you would do. (minimum 200 words) 2 1/4 pt each • References more than Essex. • Biggest Issue: Back your opinions/actions with case law and/or statute driven
