PTC Refrigeration Processes is part of the
Business Area Solutions – Technology Centers.
Within this organisation unit there is a vacancy
for a Mechanical Engineer. In this function you
report to the Teamleader Refrigeration
Engineering.
The Position
 Study, interpret and discuss the design data,
create and monitor project planning;
 Responsible for design and realization of
refrigeration diagrams, calculation of pipe
diameters and needed accessories and the
set-up P&ID’s;
 Define the layout, electrical issues and
functional descriptions within the team;
 Arrange software tests and execute factory
acceptance tests;
 Prepare orders and corresponding material
specifications for components, assess offers
for products and services;
 Make installation- and operating instructions
and CE certificates;
 Check and approve calculation, quotation and
budget;
 Handle warranty claims;
 Contribute to learnings effects;
standardization, innovation and quality
improvements
Your profile
 Knowledge of industrial Refrigeration, or
process technology is required;
 Experience with project management and
teamwork;
 Knows how to use standards, safety
regulations, testing requirements, etc.;
 Knowledge of CAD systems, file
management, technical calculation sheets
and ERP systems is required;
 Effective use of Microsoft Office software
(Excel, Word, Power Point etc.) is needed;
 English language is mandatory, additional
Dutch or German is optional;
 You have good commercial, social and
communication skills;
