PRONOUNS replace
nouns in a sentence.
Subject Pronouns
• used as a subject in
the sentence.
• Subject refers to the
doer of the action.
Subject Pronouns
I refers to the one speaking
We
refers to the speaker and another
person or animal
You refers to the person/s spoken to
He refers to a boy
She refers to a girl
It refers to a thing, animal, or event
They
refers to many people, animals,
things, or events
EXAMPLES:
•I played with my sister.
•We played blocks and puzzles.
•Mara is nice. She is also respectful.
•Mark is fun to be with. He is very jolly.
•You are my friend.
•Daddy and his friends played golf. They
enjoyed their game very much.
Fill in the blanks with a subject pronoun.
1. Teacher Princess is our Filipino teacher.
