-The apartheid was imposed from 1948 until 1993.
-Apartheid was all about racial segregation, and about political and
economic discrimination which separated Black, Coloured, Indian, and
White South Africans
-On 18 August 1977, BIKO was arrested at a police, only to defend their
rights and freedoms

4. -Donald James Woods, was a white South African journalist and
anti-apartheid activist.
-He helped his best friend, Biko, with the South African fight
publishing a book.
- He tried to change the unfair justice of his country

5. -Biko in prision suffered a major head injury. He was nearly dead
owing to the previous injuries. Biko died shortly after arrival at the
Pretoria prison, on 12 September in 1997.
-The news of Biko's death spread quickly, opening many eyes around
the world to the brutality of the apartheid regime.
