POSITION HELD: Architect
                                       PROJECT (phases): Feasibility study, design develoment and planning
                                       application.
                                       PROGRAM.CONCEPT:In January 2008 Haringey Borough Council
                                       asked Capita Symonds Ltd to look at the potential for Woodside House
                                       to renovated and extended to provide a new Civic centre to replace the
                                       Wood Green Town Hall.
                                       This will bring the Council back to a building that had been a council
                                       chamber and magistrate’s court over its life since 1865 when it was built
         existing plan -Ground Floor   as a private residence and it was extended in 1913 to provide the
                                       council chamber and police court. Woodside House is locally
                                       listed and set within a Green Flag recognized park.

       POSITION HELD: Project Architect                                                                                                                        1 > 3 Residential building at Azinhaga das Galhardas,”Mais Campo Grande” … LISBON
       PROJECT (phases): Planning application,detail design and production information.
       PROGRAM.CONCEPT: It is mainly a residential building, which integrates a group of functionalities regarding the comfort and quality of life of future
       owners. Areas were designed to give the feeling of ampleness and, at the same time, privacy, without neglecting its usage by handicapped people.
       Infra-structures were created in response to the demands of modern life, such as a pool and a playground.
       The structure obeyed several sustainability criteria, incorporating effective solutions in terms of energy savings.
       Management systems of housing resources were applied, which means, technologies that can make daily life easier in terms of safety, lighting,
       communication and climatization.

       PROJECT (phases): Execution and assistance on furniture selection                                                              1 > 1 Remodelling the office floor of Companhia Açoreana … LISBON
       PROGRAM.CONCEPT: It’s about the remodelling the floor, where the board of directors of AÇOREANA – Companhia de
       Seguros S.A. is located.
       The purpose was to create an area that represented the mission and values of the company, as well as its ability to innovate
       and perfect itself, in search for excellence.In that way, areas were designed to grant them with greater ampleness and
       lightness, which was achieved through light treatment and appropriate material selection.
       Furniture and other decorative elements reflect and develop the ideas that guided the architectural project, transmitting a
       consistent and modern image.

        PROGRAM.CONCEPT: With This project one wanted to promote the adaptation of a building in Pombaline style, located in
        Lisbon, in the quarter of Stª Isabel, and integrated it into a homogeneous urban structure, into a single family residence of

                                                                                                                                                                       On the inside it was intended to give ampleness to the

                                                                                                                                                                       facade, distinguished by large glass voids, and increasing
                                                                                                                                                                       the connection of the building with the sidewalk, which was
                                                                                                                                                                       on its own, theme for an intervention.

                     PROJECT (phases): Planning application
                     PROGRAM.CONCEPT: Located at the Raçoeira Street, this single family residence has
                     two floors which incorporate all the advantages of this topology. It was necessary to
                     model the existent terrain in order to harmonize the construction with the land therefore
                     taking the best of the landscape and the solar exposure, taking advantage of the excellent
                     landscape characteristics of the site.

         PROGRAM.CONCEPT: Located at a village in the region of Alentejo, the restoration of this castle was based on the idea of
         creating a space for foreigner conference men, coexisting with lodging areas and other areas designed to conferences and
         lectures.

                                                                                                                Inspired in references and Greco-roman classic rules, the restoration of the
                                                                                                                caste looked upon the modernization of the spaces, bringing them closer to a
                                                                                                                futuristic shape.
                                                                                                                While painted white on the outside, the inside is painted gold dramatizing the
                                                                                                                space through the light and texture of its stone carved walls, connecting the

                          PROGRAM.CONCEPT: Residential building built over a 28.546m2 area, located in the oriental part of Lisbon, Parque
                          das Nações (Expo 98) near the Tagus River. It has 57 apartments with T1 to T5 configurations with an exceptional
                          front view to the Tagus’ estuary and ample balconies or large panoramic terraces and private pools in some of the
                          residences. Designed with a range of volumes and skyline variations, multiple materials are combined, such as


                          concrete, wood, glass, steel, through a modern architecture.

                                                PROJECT (phases): urban design
                                                PROGRAM.CONCEPT: Located at Poço do Bispo
                                                area, the whole intervention area was documented
                                                and later on a section was selected by the group in
                                                order to recuperate and regenerate the urban area.
                                                In terms of practical implementation of the project
                                                the plan was to design a winding circuit to allow the
                                                contemplation of the landscape and making the
                                                approach to the river, resolving the topography and
                                                differentiating the heights, bringing together the
                                                houses near the river.

LEVEL: 5th year student of architecture
        PROJECT (phases): Project developed from urban scale to detailing.
        PROGRAM.CONCEPT: Building confined by the 24 of July Avenue. Being this area known
        for its traffic jams, noise and movement, the project presents itself as a contraposition in a
        way it privileges quietness and relaxation. Guided by loose words – senses, tact, textures,
        directions, crowds, meetings, velocities, movements, rhythms, alignments, vertical, horizontal,
        façades, sounds, silences – the project presents a space through volumes that intercept
        themselves allowing the creation of a private patio with a garden where the dominant feature
        is quietness.
        The entrance of the building is delimited by the ample square that stretches along the block
        connecting Tenente Valadim’s street and the 24 of July Avenue which occasionally
        communicates with the river. On the inside, the diversity of the rooms characterizes the classy
        hotel associating textures with scenic spaces.
