You have £10 to buy something and sell it on eBay. 
! 
Your task is to make a profit. 
! 
You must bring the £10 back to Town Hall on Friday 24th 
October, together with any profit that you make. 
! 
This is an exercise in choosing the right product, writing a 
great headline and great copy.
THE EBAY BRIEF 
50% of the total profits will go to the student who made the 
most money from their £10. 
! 
30% of the total profits will go to the student who made the 
second largest profit from their £10. 
! 
20% of the total profits will go to the student who made the 
third largest profit from their £10.

Your task is to produce content that will make them famous,

You must work with your artist to create street art that 
provokes a reaction.

You may come up with ideas driven by location,

You may come up with as many ideas as you like,

This brief runs for the rest of your academic year.

When you have an idea, pitch it to your street artist,

Collaborate with them on the design of your idea,

Understand their style of work,

Know that they have the final veto on their work.

You will be hosting an Art Show in June, showing the best of 
your work from Word On The Street,

The public will be invited to buy prints,

So we will be able to quantify their value,

Which means that you will know how much your prints are 
worth.

  • 6. THE EBAY BRIEF You have £10 to buy something and sell it on eBay. ! Your task is to make a profit. ! You must bring the £10 back to Town Hall on Friday 24th October, together with any profit that you make. ! This is an exercise in choosing the right product, writing a great headline and great copy.

THE EBAY BRIEF 50% of the total profits will go to the student who made the most money from their £10. ! 30% of the total profits will go to the student who made the second largest profit from their £10. ! 20% of the total profits will go to the student who made the third largest profit from their £10.

  • 11. THE BRIEF You will work in a team, ! Your team has been assigned a talented artist to work with, ! Your task is to produce content that will make them famous, ! You must work with your artist to create street art that provokes a reaction.
  • 12. THE BRIEF You may come up with topical ideas, ! You may come up with satirical ideas, ! You may come up with ideas driven by location, ! You may come up with as many ideas as you like, ! This brief runs for the rest of your academic year.
  • 13. THE BRIEF When you have an idea, pitch it to your street artist, ! Collaborate with them on the design of your idea, ! Understand their style of work, ! Know that they have the final veto on their work.
  • 14. SKILLS REQUIRED You will need to come up lots of ideas, ! Your artist won’t say “yes” to all of them, ! You will need to learn how to work with your artist.
  • 15. SKILLS REQUIRED When your artist produces work, you will need to get the word out about it, ! You will need to drive awareness and start conversations, ! You will need to track conversations, ! You will need to demonstrate that people have had a reaction to your work.

  • 18. REWARDING SUCCESS You will be hosting an Art Show in June, showing the best of your work from Word On The Street, ! The public will be invited to buy prints, ! So we will be able to quantify their value, ! Which means that you will know how much your prints are worth.
