There are two main types of energy sources: renewable and non-renewable. It is important that we conserve energy because non-renewable sources are finite and using less energy can help reduce environmental impacts and save money through changes like using public transportation, reducing home heating, choosing energy efficient products, and turning off lights when not in use.

formation takes billions of
