This initiative is in response to a need to quickly integrate the AT&T downstream back end applications to IBM’s
Software applications being sold and utilized in support of multiple client deals under the AT&T/IBM BlueSky
Program. This project will focus on the Configuration Management initiative in support of the Clients/IBM’s ITSM/ITIL
process framework.
Job Description:
• Identifying, Analyzing and Freeze project requirements. To ensure the scope of the project is clear and signed off with the
AT&T client.

Defect Reduction Initiative [DRI]
Defect Reduction Initiative (DRI) is a special client focus activity to reduce the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Defects.
This effort focused on some of the programs like AVPN, BVoIP etc.
This DRI focuses on a set of project(s) in each Program.
Objective:
• To Reduce the DATA Defects
• Reduce MTTR for data defects.
• Resolution guide for frequently occurring problems.
• DRI Deliverables.
• Establish Funding requirements
• Engage appropriate SMEs for long term solutions.
Role on the Defect Reduction Initiative
• Identify Innovations for each of the program.
• Work closely with the AT&T DRI Management, Application Teams both ATT and IBM Management
• Pilot and institutionalize the innovations for defect reduction.
• Track the Innovations for effectiveness (Current innovations and Present Innovations)
• Generate the Metrics at the end of the Release and plan for the future releases.
