William blake
1.
2. William Blake was an English
poet, painter, and a printmaker.
He was born on November 28th in
London, England and did in 1827.
William Blake learned how to read and write
by his mother because he was homeschooled.
By the age of ten he planned to become a
painter so his parents sent him to a drawling
school. Then soon after when Blake was
twelve he started writing poetry. Here are two
of his famous poems that I found interesting.
3. In William Blake’s poem Love’s Secret
he tells a story about pouring his heart
out to his love where it soon turned into
a disaster. William Blake writes, “I told
my love; I told my love; I told her all my
heart; Trembling cold in ghastly fears;
Ah! She did depart.” He goes on to
describe there relationship was ruined
when a traveler wisp his love away.
4. In William Blake’s poem Night he is basically
describing what goes on during the night sky. He
writes, “The sun descending in the west; The evening
star does shine; The birds are silent in their nest; And I
must seek mine.” – William Blake. He is describing
how calm night time is when the moon comes out and
how everything becomes at ease. He explains
throughout the poem how nature and human beings
react with what is happening. He also explains how he
can become at ease and rest with the different aspects
going on during the night.
