 N.B:
Advise patient to avoid alcohol metronidazole has
disulfiram_like reaction with alcohol , this caused by
metronidazole inhibiting the metabolism of alcohol , lead to build
up of aldehydes which produce nausea , vomiting .
Contra-indicated in breast-feeding due to it excerted in milk so
unpleasant taste for milk and risk of GIT disturbance in infant .

Several patient groups are predisposed to pseudomembraneous
candidiasis and erythematous candidiasis infection :
1) Patient taking inhaled corticosteroid .
2) Broad spectrum antibiotic .

4) Coma
‫السبب‬:
‫إما‬hyperglycemia‫أو‬hypoglycemia.
( ‫سكر‬ ‫نقص‬ ‫أنها‬ ‫علي‬ ‫هتعالجها‬ ‫الحالتين‬ ‫فكال‬hypoglycemia‫ألنها‬ )
‫األخطر‬‫إلي‬ ‫تؤدي‬ ‫وقد‬ ,‫المريض‬ ‫وفاة‬. ‫بسرعة‬ ‫عالجها‬ ‫يتم‬ ‫لم‬ ‫لو‬
‫العالج‬:
1)Hypoglycemia:
a). ‫لسانه‬ ‫تحت‬ ‫سكر‬ ‫أو‬ ‫عصير‬ ‫يشرب‬
b)( ‫محلول‬ ‫علق‬ ‫يبقي‬ ‫هيقدر‬ ‫مش‬ ‫لو‬glucose. )
c)( ‫وريد‬ ‫أو‬ ‫عضل‬ ‫حقنة‬ ‫أو‬glucagon 1mg).
2)Hyperglycemia:
( ‫الحالة‬ ‫نفس‬ ‫علي‬ ‫ظل‬ ‫المريض‬ ‫لو‬coma‫أساس‬ ‫علي‬ ‫هيتعالج‬ ‫يبقي‬ )

2) Nitroglycerine tab ( ‫اللسان‬ ‫تحت‬ ‫يوضع‬ )
‫بعد‬ ‫يكرره‬ ‫ممكن‬5. ‫كمان‬ ‫تالتة‬ ‫مرة‬ ‫يكرر‬ , ‫تحسن‬ ‫مفيش‬ ‫لو‬ ‫دقائق‬

2) Tonic – clonic movement of trunk extremeties .

1) Lay patient with his leg raised to increase cerebral
blood flow .

)‫تغلط‬ ‫إياك‬‫وتعطيها‬‫وريد‬(
‫كل‬ ‫تكرر‬5‫مفيش‬ ‫لو‬ , ‫دقائق‬improvement‫أقصي‬ ‫لحد‬(1.5 ml‫يعني‬ )3. ‫بس‬ ‫مرات‬
3) Dexamethasone 8 mg I.M ‫عضل‬ ‫حقنة‬) )
