Acute renal failure: Sudden and often temporary loss of kidney function. Also called acute kidney Injury. As opposed to chronic renal failure. Many times this is reversible but depending on the cause and severity, it may be irreversible and lead to chronic renal failure or chronic kidney disease. Normally, the kidneys filter the blood and remove waste and excess salt and water. Acute kidney failure is when the kidneys suddenly stop working. Acute renal failure can be due to many different causes. Some cases will be severe enough to require dialysis to remove toxins from the body until the kidneys can recover. Sometimes, the damage is severe enough that it is irreversible and the patient will require long term dialysis or renal transplant

CAKUT are a group of phenotypically diverse structural malformations characterized by defects in renal and urinary tract development. Nearly half of children who develop end-stage renal disease (ESRD) have asymmetric, irregularly shaped kidneys, often referred to as bilateral renal scarring and frequently associated with lower urinary tract anomalies, including vesicoureteral reflux (VUR). Congenitally abnormal kidneys may be large or small, cystic or irregular in outline, and absent or misplaced.

Food is one of the basic needs of the human being. It is required for the normal functioning of the body parts and for a healthy growth. Food is any substance, composed of carbohydrates, water, fats and/or proteins, that is either eaten or drunk by any animal, including humans, for nutrition or pleasure. Items considered food may be sourced from plants, animals or another kingdom such as fungus. On the other hand , Food science is a study concerned with all technical aspects of food, beginning with harvesting or slaughtering, and ending with its cooking and consumption. It is considered one of the life sciences, and is usually considered distinct from the field of nutrition.

Touch-enabled devices have a place in the world of medical data, providing mobility and flexibility. In our pathology research scenarios, we found that the Intel processor-powered Microsoft Surface Pro 3 offered more features than the ARM processor-based iPad Air 2, including the ability to annotate and view multiple samples at the same time in Sectra Pathology Viewer. The Surface Pro also completed tasks in two scenarios in less time than did the iPad Air 2. By offering both more features and better performance, the Intel processor-powered Microsoft Surface Pro 3 can enable a more efficient workflow when working with Sectra Pathology Viewer.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) means your kidneys are damaged and can't filter blood the way they should. The disease is called “chronic” because the damage to your kidneys happens slowly over a long period of time.

Kidneys are bean-shaped organs that filter waste out of your bloodstream to produce urine. They also help balance the fluid and salts in your blood. Simple kidney cysts are fluid-filled sacs or cysts, that can form in one or both of your kidneys and that grow in your kidney and are usually harmless. There can be only one cyst or many. The shape of Simple kidney cysts is generally round or oval. Simple kidney cysts can range from the size of a pea to the size of a golf ball.

The Last Leaf is a short story by the American writer O. Henry (1862-1910) commonly known in the history of American literature as "the author of surprise ending". It tells the story of an old artist who saves the life of a young neighbouring artist, who is seriously ill and dying, by giving her the will to live. O. Henry knew people very well, especially the ordinary people of New York. In his stories you can feel satirical criticism of the American way of life. Most of his short stories are full of warm sympathy for ordinary American people.

Size separation, or sieving, is a technique to segregate particles by size, vital in pharmaceuticals, food processing, and mining. Methods include sieving (particles pass through mesh sieves), sedimentation (based on settling velocities in fluid), cyclone separation (using centrifugal forces), and filtration (using barriers with specific pore sizes). Applications range from ensuring uniform drug formulations to grading grains and extracting minerals. Size separation offers efficiency, precision, and versatility, making it essential for quality control and consistency across various industries.

This presentation provides an introduction to quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis and marker-assisted selection (MAS) in plant breeding. The presentation begins by explaining the type of quantitative traits. The process of QTL analysis, including the use of molecular genetic markers and statistical methods, is discussed. Practical examples demonstrating the power of MAS are provided, such as its use in improving crop traits in plant breeding programs. Overall, this presentation offers a comprehensive overview of these important genomics-based approaches that are transforming modern agriculture.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
