There are three main neuropsychological assessment systems used in clinical work to determine if a patient's case is psychogenic or neurogenic: the Halstead-Reitan Neuropsychological Assessment, the Luria Nebraska Neuropsychological Assessment, and the system using Muriel Lezak which combines different tests depending on the assessment's purpose without an existing battery. These systems examine patients at the psychometric, psychological, and neuropsychological levels to evaluate the relationship between the brain, mind, and psyche.
