Healthy is a state of complet mental, physical and social wellness
Health depends on some factors:
Personal characteristics (if my mother uses glasses, maybe I will use)
The environment or place where we live (culture, poorness)
The lifestyle
Health care
3. What is illness?
Illness is the ausence of health.
You can have signs and symptoms
Example:
- Sign: you have fever because your temperature is 38 degrees
- Symptom: you feel cold.
4. HEALTHY HABITS
Sleep between 8-10 hours a day
Eat five times, taking importance of the breakfast
Protect your sking from the sun with solar cremes
Listen to music with an adequate volumen
Breath fresh air
Sit down correctly
Eat healthy: vegetables, fruits, proteins
Vacines
Prevent accidents (use helmet with the bike, seatbelt in the car, warm up your muscles
before doing sport)
Try to avoid alcohol, tobacco and drugs
6. DRUGS
Some drugs are really bad for the body and they can make a person dependent of
them
Alcohol: is the most common drug. A lot of people get drunk and provoke car
accidents. Their effects are very bad for the body and the brain.
Tobacco: it is another common drug. It can cause lung cancer and apart from that
it damages to people that don’t smoke.
7. NEW TECHNOLOGIES
Nowadays we are living in a technological world.
In all the houses, the children have contact with:
MOBILE PHONES
INTERNET CONEXIÓN
TABLETS
CONSOLES, PSP
SOCIAL NETWORKS
They can isolate a person from his family, his Friends
It is very dangerous to use them. Sometimes, there are problems on the internet with your
privacy and in other cause it can cause addiction.
