Purpose: KTC Work Ethics program is designed to promote positive work behaviors and to
prepare students to be better, more productive workers.
The Work Ethic evaluation is based on the following set of work ethics traits:

1. Work ethic grading/evaluation will be a permanent part of the student’s grade and will
appear on his/her transcript.
2. Students should strive to maintain an A average in the work ethic area. If the ethic average
falls below a C the student may be placed on probation and will be given a Student
Conference form (written plan of improvement).
