school in which application software are of great help in
accomplishing these activities.
 The different types of software that support educational
technology application in school settings include
instructional software, productivity software and
administrative software.

designed specifically to
deliver instruction or aid
with the delivery of
instruction. Instructional
software are intended to
teach skills or
information through
demonstrations,
examples, explanations,
or problem solving.

4.  Examples are tutorials, drill and practice
programs, simulations instructional games,
problem solving and special needs software

5.  A software that teaches
the user about new
concepts. A tutorial usually
offers pretest, post -test
and drill and practice.

6.  Provides exercises in
which students work
on items one at a time
and receive feedback
on their correctness.

7. An effective drill and practice program should allow
student to work own pace, give motivating feedback, and
be user-friendly.
