This was the presentation that I delivered to employees at Delphi after my experience. By utilising this opportunity of standing up and performing, I could ensure that people were impressed so I worked hard in order to make sure I had a great presentation. Not only was this a chance to show off my presentation skills and what I have learnt, but most importantly the chance to prove that I am a hard working individual that is interested in Automotive Engineering. Main parts for the diesel delivery system include the Injectors, ECU, common rail which the connect to the injectors and the diesel pump.
The pump is what pushes the diesel at high pressures into the high pressure rail
the drive cam rotates and causes the roller which sits in a shoe to compress the pump plunger causing the fuel to be pushed out of the high pressure outlet which then goes to the rail.
The control valve will contract upon request from the ECU if the accelerator pedal is pushed, this contraction will cause the diesel to spray out of the nozzle in 4 different holes.

Cell measuring
We created a 8 mode test that varied with its torque to the RPM, this simulates how an engine would be used. They pulled data from the engine to measure its performance..... why is this useful and how ?
We also made a speed matrix test run that had 20 modes
