In the summer of 2016, I was part apart of a World Challenge team consisting of 16 people. The idea of this expedition was to experience life in a less economically stable country than the UK and to experience something new which has changed me as a person. We backpacked 2 weeks in Nicaragua located in Central America and for our first week we spent in an amazing community with the locals. I experienced so much and learnt a lot, I learnt Spanish with the school kids and I learnt how grateful they were, the greatest gift of all, Life.
