--Guest Relations. The Guest Relations (G.R.) department is an all around department which
includes but it's not limited to the hotels security, issuing radios and keys,
making key duplicates, receiving packages for hotel guest, lost and found and

helping out a department that is being overwhelmed, noticing safety hazards or
just pointing a guest in the right direction.
-- Security. Every employee is an important key to keeping our employees and guests safe. This
is everyones responsibility not just Guest Relations, it affects all of us. If you
notice something or someone that doesn't look or feel right inform your
manager or Guest Relations, most of the time your intuition is correct.
4. --Lost and Found. Articles left behind by a guest or employee are to be turned in immediately to
Guest Relations or your Mgr. if G.R. is not available. By doing this it will
ensure that you are not accused of trying to steal the article and when guests
call inquiring about article we'll know of its status. Lost and found articles will
be held at G.R. for 3 months and if not claimed will be given to the person who
turned it in. Make sure to include a note with your name, date and location of
where item/s was found.

not expect to have a locker. There is a waiting list in G.R. and they will be
issued in the order they were requested. Your uniforms are to be stored by you
and not in the G.R. office. The lockers are property of the Raleigh Hotel, which
are subject to being searched at will without notification, failure to give access
to a locker will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
--Entrance and Exit. All employees are to enter and exit the hotel through the employee entrance
on 18th street not the front door. Employees are not to return to the hotel after
they have punched out unless on official business, at such a time please inform
G.R., MOD or your Mgr. and should enter through employee entrance. In the
case that you have a visitor they are not to enter the property, have them wait
outside by the employee entrance, unless you have authorization from your
Mgr. or the MOD. Friends and family are not allowed on the property unless
authorized by your Mgr. or the MOD.
--Hotel Property. No property of the hotel is to leave the premises with out proper consent,
whether it's broken or no longer used. The form may be obtained in G.R. and
must be signed by the Controller and the Hotel/General Manager.
