on your posts. This unit will aid you
in getting your discussion settings
set properly so your Wordpress blog
will accept comments without waiting
for your approval.

3. You logged in, and now you see your Wordpress Dashboard
Good! You’re in the right place.
4. Look at the sidebar on the left-hand side of your Dashboard.
Scroll down until you see Settings.
Place your cursor over Settings. New choices will appear on the right hand side
of your cursor.

5. Place your cursor over Discussion
Left click your mouse.
You will be taken to the
Discussion Settings page.
6. You need to have these two items
checked.

7. Make sure that the two boxes in the circled area are
NOT checked. You’re almost done. Keep going.
If you’d like notification via email
(a good idea) when somebody
posts, likes or follows your blog,
go ahead and check some or all of the
selections on top.
You might want to bump the number
of links to 3 for Comment Moderation.
Sometimes, your classmates put 2
links in their comments
10. •Direct a friend or family member to your blog site.
•Make sure it isn’t someone who has left a comment before.
•Have them leave a comment on your blog.
•If their comment appears – great!
Your blog will receive comments freely. You’re Done!
•However, if you blog gives a message like the one below, you still have a problem.

“Your comment is awaiting moderation.”
You have a problem. Go back and
review the steps and test again.
