otherco-workerstoissue bondstoexistingandnew clientswithinspecifiedtime deadlines. Specific
knowledge of bonds,bondmarketselectionandbond process asneededinahighpressured,fast-paced
environmentwithsignificanttime deadlines.
Major Responsibilities
Market and place all typesof Commercial andSubdivisionSuretyBonds. AssistSalesProducers and
AccountExecutiveswithpreparingproposalsforthe bestSuretyBondprogramswithmarkets. Collect
informationfromclientand/orprospecttodetermine bondrequirements,neededunderwriting
informationandrates.
Prepare indemnityagreements/applicationsandfollow upwithclientfortimelyreceipt. Facilitate
underwritingprocess&communicationbetween the Suretycarrierandthe clientSeekunderwriter
approval onbondswhere linesof authorityare notinplace or bondneedsare outside of authority
granted.
Processall bonds,bondriders,andbondcertificateserrorfree,asnecessaryandwhere power of
attorneyisgranted. Issue invoicesfornew andrenewingbonds tobe billedpromptly. ProcessedBond
renewalsatleast30 days priorto renewal.
Reportissuedbondstocarrierson a timelybasis.
Proofingco-workersbidbondsandfinal ContractBondsbefore theyleave the office.
Processincomingmail,email,phoneandfax requests,respondingpromptlyandappropriately.
Setup filesElectronicpaperlessfilesforall new Suretyclientsandmaintainuptodate financial
informationforactive accountsbyrequestingpriortorenewingbondterm.
Routinelygothroughfilestosee whichfilescanbe closedoutonce jobiscomplete.
Participate inunderwriterand/orclientmeetingswithSalesExecutives/AccountExecutives.Buildclient
loyaltyby providing,friendly,timelyandaccurate service.
Keepaccountsreceivableunder60 days. Monitor accountingon a biweekly basis. Contactclientfor
paymentwhere necessary.
AssistSuretyTeamas neededandperformotherdutiesasassignedordirected.

Setsprioritiesandmanagesworkflowtoensure efficient,timelyandaccurate processingof transactions
and otherresponsibilities.
Maintaina cordial and effectiverelationshipwithclients,co-workers,underwriters,andotherbusiness
associates.
Keepsinformedregardingindustryinformation,new bondobligations,legislation,andtechnologyto
continuouslyimprove knowledgeandperformance.
Interactswithotherseffectivelybyutilizinggoodcommunication skills,cooperatingpurposefullyand
providinginformationandguidance,asneeded,toachievethe businessgoalsof the agency. Develop
and maintainastrong professional relationshipwithmarketsinordertomaximize opportunitytoplace
business.
