Jonathan Howell will play the tall, threatening janitor who is the main antagonist in the opening sequence. He is meant to seem dangerous and experienced as the stalking assailant. His face will not be shown to allow any actor to fill the role. Jonathan was chosen because he is quite tall and muscular, fitting the physical description needed to portray a confident antagonist. Luke Newcombe will portray the average but skinny and paranoid student victim who seems like an easy target. He was selected because his thin physique matches the vulnerable description and he can portray dislike of schoolwork through his role.
2. Jonathan Howell - Antagonist
Jonathan Howell; will be the main antagonist of the opening sequence,
the janitor. He is meant to be tall and threatening so it will feel
dangerous when he’s approaching the victim. His face will be covered
and not shown in shots used in the opening sequence so it doesn’t
matter what his face looks like.
I picked Jonathan for this role because I believe he is suitable for being
this character as he is quite tall and muscular. His personality is
confident and energetic, he is also a kind of person who likes sports
and other activities. He can bring his confidence into the role through
his actions during the opening sequence by acting as if he knows what
he’s doing and that he does this countless times meaning he has
experience.
He has a strong physical appearance so he’s suitable to be the
antagonist.
3. Luke Newcombe - Student Victim
Luke Newcombe will play an average school student, who is quite
skinny, making him seem weak and vulnerable and an easy target. The
student is quite paranoid so he will be a bit fidgety even when there’s
no real danger and will dart his head around in caution when doing his
work. When the janitor appears behind him he will attempt to shout
but his mouth will already be covered by the rug.
I picked Luke because he is quite thin making him look vulnerable. His
personality is kind, not overly talkative or loud and hates schoolwork,
he can bring the fact that he doesn’t like work into the role by having
him not look like he’s enjoying doing the homework he has to do.
He does not have a very strong physical appearance which makes him
an easy target for the antagonist.
