This document provides suggestions and resources for conducting virtual field trips to enhance instruction in online and face-to-face classes. It includes a sample script for leading a virtual field trip, as well as follow-up activity questions. Links to various educational websites are listed for virtual field trip destinations covering different subjects and age groups, such as museums, NASA sites, and videos on teaching English language learners. References are also included.

3. Group Trip Script suggestion Here is an idea of a script you can use for your classes. Of course, you can change the script to suit your plan: “Today we are going on a virtual field trip! We are going to visit ________I have provided you with a link : __________________________ But don’t leave yet! We will leave momentarily… Let’s synchronize our watches! Let’s see, It is now 2:20. Does everyone have that?... During the field trip, you will visit the site, view the video, explore the site and then we’ll come back to seminar at 2:35 to discuss what we’ve observed. Does anyone have any questions? … Is everyone ready? Buckle up! Go ahead and click on the link and I’ll see you back here at 2:35”

As a follow-up activity, please answer the following questions with a short paragraph and submit to your instructor by ____________. What was unique about the site? Was there adequate time for you to explore? What happened during the field trip? What did you learn that you didn’t know? Would you visit this museum again with friends or family members? If so, what would you show them first? What intrigued you?
