• Garner Osborne is a ‘one-stop-shop’ – from bare board manufacture,
through component assembly for both surface mount and through
hole components, onto functional test and finally into mechanical
assembly.
• We have the ability to place just about every component on the
market place, from 0201 passives to 35mm square BGA’s. Backed up
by AOI, Erascope and full X-Ray capabilities for inspection.
• We handle and manage any combination of material supply from full
free issue, part or full procurement.
• We operate an ‘open book’ policy for a costed bill of materials
(BOM), to ensure that between us we achieve the best material.

Supply chain management via our MRP system ensure shortage-free kits ready for our
release dates.
Ability to produce products from full free-issue kits, partial free-issue kits or full procurement.
All orders receive a complete ‘contract review’, to ensure the ultimate delivery date is achievable
and any issues are identified prior to assembly.
Independent ‘Express Prototype’ system allows us to achieve fast turnaround.
1,100+ ball BGA’s placed and verified by X-Ray and Ersascope.
Mirtec AOI using 5x10 megapixel cameras, plus laser height recognition.
Type 4 solder paste used as standard, allowing better deposition of paste for 0201
components and fine pitch devices.
Finished goods storage to allow ‘Kanban’ call-offs.
Prototype post-build reports are available.

achieved in the most effective manner. Our design engineers’ input
will have significant impact on not only the cost of manufacture but

PCB prototype – This process is essential when developing new
products and applications as it enables all aspects of the design to
be managed in a controlled and efficient manner. Making and testing
prototypes will be significantly less costly in time and money than
undertaking a production run.

Recycling waste
In our industry, being environmentally friendly can be
challenging, however we are committed to finding greener
ways of working and constantly adapt our manufacturing
processes to be kinder to the environment.
Examples include:
• A high proportion of factory waste is recycled to avoid
becoming landfill
• Where possible we reprocess or reuse all waste products
• All metals and fibreglass used in PCB manufacture
is recycled
• 50 KVA solar panel system, helps reduce energy costs.
