This film is based on the novel called
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and is a thriller
which includes the actors :

O It was originally written by Peter Morgan but he
later dropped out after writing the draft. He was
then replaced by Peter Straughan and Bridget
O'Connor.

was the first English language film that he has
directed, it has also has been produced by Tim
Bevan and Eric Fellner who own Working Title
Films.
O The film has a running time of 127 minutes and
was given a certificate 15.
O They released a featurette of the original film to
coincide with the recent film.

vintage look and to emphasise the time
in which the film was set (early 1970’s).

O It achieved £2,814,860 in the UK in its
opening weekend, and was screened on 382
screens.
O Topped British Box Office charts for 3
consecutive weeks.
O As of the 13th November Cinema revenues in
Britain brought in £13,734,483.
O It has be been nominated for 6 awards at the
British independent film awards.
O Universal plan to give the film a big release in
the USA on the 9th December 2011.
