In ABMS SWITZERLAND
UNIVERSITY Nutrition and
Culinary Arts
The undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at school of
nutrition switzerland in Nutrition and Culinary Arts are courses
for students that want to strengthen their skills in the health
and Food focusing mainly on the managerial elements and the
skills needed to successfully run a business from a high-end
position.
This course will consist of a 12-month study period in which
students will be taught through lectures and online theory
experience in the Academy, student should be working part
time too, then once they have learnt the skills and
approaches needed on a managerial level, they will be able to
work in a local business.

All our study programs are made for you to be able to finish
within one academic year. We have 4 intakes per year for this
study program: january, april, july and october.
Why Nutrition and Culinary Arts?
This study at school of nutrition switzerland is very beneficial for
students, as it will help to open up a lot more career paths than they
would have been able to pursue if they entered the profession at
undergraduate or postgraduate level.
The students will be taught the core elements needed for a
managerial position in most international Nutrition or culinary
businesses.
Part time studying and part time working in a state of the art
kitchen or Nutrition office, the students will get a chance to
become accustomed to the type of environment they will be
overseeing as a culinary chef or Nutritionist and will learn the
necessary skills and sanitary procedures to make it a safe
environment for themselves and their co-workers.
Having the chance to put these skills to use in a working
environment will also mean that these students get a hands on
experience out of the walls of the Academy and will be able to
communicate and work as a part of a professional team which will
add on a whole new level of knowledge and also a professional
vocabulary in order to set themselves up properly for employment.
Academic Goal
Graduates of this course at school of nutrition
switzerland will have a wide range of managerial career
paths to choose from because of the high level the
qualification that they will receive. Students will be
confident, skilful leaders that will be able to adapt to any
situation that they may need to face once employed.
They will have knowledge of the current health and sanitation
regulations, state of the art culinary machinery and high standards of
preparation and presentation when it comes to service.
Programme overview
The students will be taught through a series of lectures and hands on
experience on campus in order to gain new skills and build on basic
skills learnt at an earlier level in their education.
However, as each student is different and it is important for us to be
able to cater to every students needs when it comes to their career
goals, we will give our students the chance to choose from a list of
elective modules in order to shape their curriculum to shape their own
goals.
• Students can choose from the following list of electives.
• Students will be marked on assessments such as exams,
presentations, essays and skills assessments.
Swiss Diploma (1
year) / Associate Degree (2
years):
• This is the first step for our Bachelor study program
• Duration: one Academic year or more
• Degree: Associate Degree in Nutrition and Culinary Arts
Management
• Age: Minimum age 17 years
• Previous study: High School Diploma or equivalent
• English level: IELTS or equivalent (Only for students from
non-English speaking countries or students who did not
study at English speaking school)
• Study Method: Online
• Fee: 4900 Euro for the first year (Diploma) and 5900 Euro for
the 2nd year (Associate Degree)
Bachelor Degree:
• Duration: 1 year
• Degree: BBA in Nutrition and Culinary Arts Management
• Age: Minimum age 18 years
• Previous study: Associate Bachelor or equivalent
• English level: IELTS or equivalent (Only for students from non-English
speaking countries or students who did not study at English speaking
school)
• Study Method: Online
• Fee: 6900 Euro
Master Degree:
• Duration: 1 year
• Degree: MBA in Nutrition and Culinary Arts Management
• Age: Minimum age 21 years
• Previous study: Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• English level: IELTS or equivalent (Only for students from non-English
speaking countries or students who did not study at English speaking
school)
• Study Method: Online
• Fee: 8900 Euro
