We followed the SAP upgrade roadmap. I was responsible for the
smooth upgrade within the FI area. It included all the activities from the
requirement gathering and gap analysis up until the thorough testing and
the post go-live support.

We followed the recommended SAP priorities: data prevention, data
aggregation, data deletion, data archival. Iwas responsible for the
archival exercise for all the modules and archived FI_DOCUMNT,
FI_MONTHLY, FI_ACCPAYB, FI_SCHECK objects within my
portfolio.
• SAP Business Warehouse implementation for Fixed Assets
I have built up the required InfoCubes and customized both the SAP
system and BW and I also provided system support to the end users.

As a member of GE Lighting Europe SAP IT team I provided support to the
end users of SAP in the Finance team. I was responsible for GL, AP and AR
related transactions and master data support. I had to implement the new
dunning procedure. I supported closing activities (setting tables, running
month (year) end jobs, reports (revaluation, VAT, commissioner etc.). We
used Special Ledger for consolidation and we had to support the Financial
Reports integrity.
Major projects:
• GE GRASSLIN – SAP FI-CO implementation in Germany
This included conducting business analysis and documentation. In
addition to this I performed all the FI-CO configuration tasks and
played an active role in project management of full system integration.
The implementation scope was:GL, AP, AR, AM, Cost Center
Accounting, Internal Orders, Interfaces (AP, AR, Factoring,
Payroll, Customer/Vendor master data), Consolidation. I did the unit
and integration testing and I held the training sessions for the end
users.
• SAP EU-Accession
I was responsible for the SAP system integrity regarding all the business
aspects of the EU extension.

communication. I organized to collect and analyse every product related
data from factories and other departments, so EAN bar code based
product master-file set-up was ready for the EDI-communication. I
wrote the procedure for integrating EDI messages to company
transactional system (SAP).
• Internal business process review and transparency with
PricewaterhouseCoopers. I extended the EDI based business
communication in the supply chain with our partners (with our
customers as well as with our suppliers).
• Logistics improvement program on Unilever’s supplier side -
together with AT Kearney. We investigated the cost saving
opportunities in transportation and raw materials procurement in Central-
Eastern Europe. Consequently, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
system has been implemented in our Hungarian factories with our
suppliers.
