• As a problem solver and a leader, I was able to work with LPD 25 Construction Management, to address
issue of heat stress, and through valiant efforts and coordination, was able to reduce heat stress by
36% on the LPD 25 platform by strategically placing mechanical ventilation in high risk areas by adding
additional water coolers throughout the hull. This reduced lost man hours as well as reducing lost time
and workman’s compensation. This improved morale and increased productivity.
