Playing out of the Butts Park Arena, we are a passionate, driven and
ambitious Club, looking ahead to a continued future of successful
Rugby, played in Coventry, City of Rugby.
THE HISTORY
Coventry Rugby has a hugely rich history over its 142 years of existence
in the heart of Coventry. The Club has produced huge numbers of
internationals - at its peak having eleven England capped players all
playing in the same squad.
Coventry has produced some of the most famous names in the history
of the English game in a track record few can match. The Club is now
fully focused on securing its place back in the top echelons of the game.

THE VICE PRESIDENTS SUITE
Located on the 1st floor, with a private bar, you will be in the company

THE CENTURIONS CLUB
The Centurions Club is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the game whilst
mixing with the great and good of Coventry and Warwickshire. With a
private suite and bar, you can enjoy a buffet lunch and networking within
the exquisite surroundings for the Centurions Suite. The game can be viewed
from within the Suite or out on the main stand.

situated in the heart of the City, with close proximity
to road, rail and air networks.
Whether you are looking for a conference & exhibition venue
or a meeting place off site, we can take care of your event for
you and deliver exactly to your specification.
All of our rooms are adaptable to suit your needs.
Our helpful and friendly events team will guide you
from booking through to delivery of your function.
Arena 1 is located on the ground floor with 2 bars.
Arena 2 is located on the ground floor with 1 bar.
The Centurions Suite is located on the 2nd Floor,
overlooking the pitch, with 1 bar.
The Platinum Suite is located on the 2nd Floor and
overlooks the pitch. Both rooms on the 2nd floor
have easy elevator access.

10. COMMUNITY PROGRAMMES
Coventry Rugby has a strong, active and vibrant Community
Department. A pivotal part of the Club and it’s role as an ambassador
to our wider audience of children, schools and youth organisations.
COMMUNITY COACHES
What qualifications do they have?
We have 10 full time Community Coaches all working in and around Coventry & Warwickshire.
All Coaches are RFU qualified as well as having up to and including 1st4sport Level 3 NVQ
Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport (QCF)/RFU
Level 1/RFU Level 2/Safeguarding Child Protection/First Aid Training.
Our aim as a Community provider is to deliver quality provision to schools and organisations
Children and young adults deserve to receive this and we are more than happy to provide it
through fun, happy learning environments.
: Breakfast Clubs
‘Wake up rugby games’ for pupils. These games
are designed for pupils to prepare for lessons using
hand eye co-ordination skills.
: Lunch time Clubs
Pupils play organised games during their lunch
time break supervised by the coach. This is to help
with social behaviour amongst the children.
: After school Clubs
‘All sports’ clubs that coach pupils straight after
school for an hour. After school clubs are a very
popular choice with many schools in the area.
: PPA Cover
Community Rugby coaches go into schools
to cover this time by coaching PE lessons. We
also work closely with school staff to mentor
teachers through delivering these lessons.
Coventry Community Rugby combines PPA
cover with clubs whether that be lunch time
or after school.
: Specialised Coaching
Coaching rugby at an in-depth level, focusing on
the skill acquisition of players and unit groups.
This coaching is designed to help schools achieve
a high success in performance.
: Reward Days
Schools come to the Butts Park Arena to use
our state of the art PFS centre and engage
in fun sporting activity. Can be a whole day
or either a morning or afternoon.
: Stadium Tours
Groups of children come to the BPA to have a tour
around the stadium with tasks in the PFS centre.
: CashBack Scheme
Schools and organisations can join our CashBack
scheme where they will have the facility to sell
match day tickets and earn either money back or
hours in coaching.
