Step 1 – walk around the school area and take pictures of
different patterns – manmade or natural.
When you have taken 5 pictures of different patterns –
choose one pattern and return to the meeting room.

3. Group 1 - 5
Step 2 – The chosen pattern must be used as inspiration in
creating a bridge design.
Each person in the group must draw a bridge.
Vote – which bridge are you going to build in lolly sticks?

4. Group 1 – 5
Step 3 – Build your bridge in lollysticks.

The Bridge will be tested
With ballast.

5. Group 6 - 10
Step 1 – Use the LEGO on your table to build 2
bridges – divide your group into two groups.

6. Group 6 - 10
Step 2 – Go to the computer room and open
Geogebra.
Draw your Bridge in Geogebra using isometric
drawing.
