2. George Washington

3. George Washington
• George Washington - 1st president of the U.S., George Washington was a
dominant military and political leader of the new united states of America from
1775 to 1799. From 1775 to 1783, he led the American victory over great Britain
in the American Revolutionary war as commander chief of the continental army.
Political party independent. In office from April 30,1789- March, 1797. He lost 3 of
the 9 battles he fought in the revolutionary war. He was a poor decision maker. He
also supported federalists even though he claimed to be neutral. He owned over
100 slaves and only let a few go. He was the father of his country. George
Washington is one the one dollar bill.

4. Andrew Jackson
• Fear not, the people may be deluded for a moment, but cannot be corrupted.

5. Andrew Jackson
Andrew Jackson was the seventh President of the United States (1829–1837). Jackson was a politician and
army general who defeated the British at the Battle of New Orleans Battle of New Orleans.
The Battle of New Orleans took place on January 8, 1815 and was the final major battle of the War of 1812.
American forces, commanded by Major General Andrew Jackson, defeated an invading British Army intent
and the Battle of Horseshoe Bend in 1814. A polarizing figure who dominated the Second Party System
Second Party System.
The Second Party System is a term of periodization used by historians and political scientists to name the
political party system existing in the United States from about 1828 to 1854 in the 1820s and 1830s, he
destroyed the national bank and relocated most Indian tribes to the west. His enthusiastic followers
created the modern Democratic Party History of the United States Democratic Party
The history of the Democratic Party of the United States is an account of the oldest political party in the United
States and arguably the oldest democratic party in the world and the 1830-1850 period later became
known as the era of Jacksonian democracy Jacksonian democracy.
Jacksonian democracy is the political philosophy of United States politician Andrew Jackson and his supporters.
Jackson's policies followed the era of Jeffersonian democracy which dominated the previous political era.

7. Thomas Jefferson
• Thomas Jefferson was an principal author of the united states
Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the statue of Virginia for
religious freedom in 1777, the third president of the united states
from 1801-1809 and founder of the university of Virginia in 1819. He
was an influential founding father and an exponent of Jeffersonian
democracy. Political party Democratic-Republican Party. Jefferson
contracted himself. He owned hundreds of slaves, and he said Slavery
is immoral, and should be abolished. Jefferson had many good
qualities, and this hypocritical action was one of his very few faults.
He was In office March 4, 1801-March 4, 1809.

9. Abraham Lincoln
• Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the united states, serving from
March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. Lincoln was mostly self
educated. HE became a country lawyer, an Illinois state legislator, and a
one-term member of the united states House of Representatives, but
failed in two attempts at a seat in the united states senate. He is the
tallest president out of all of the other presidents. Political
party/Republican Party(1854-1865). In office March 4, 1847-March
3,1849. He created a national banking system with the National Banking
Act in 1863, resulting in a standardized currency. He was the first president
to be assassinated. He had deep depression, even though he would
frequently tell stories and jokes to friends and family. The civil war claimed
the lives over 600,000 men more than any other war in our history. Critics
of Lincoln contend that he did not need to go war ,that south and the
north could have coexisted peacefully.

10. Woodrow Wilson
• America is not anything if it consists of each of us. It is something only if it consists
of all of us.(1913-1921).

11. Woodrow Wilson
• Woodrow Wilson was the 28th president of the united states, from
1913 to 1921. A leader of the progressive Movement, and he served
as president of Princeton University from 1902 to 1910, and then as
the governor of New Jersey from 1911 to 1913. He paved the way for
the current funny money operations by supporting establishment of
the federal reserve, and he also pushed for adoption of the income
tax. In office from March 4, 1913 to March 3,1921. He was a racist
and segregated the military. He began bankrupting America by
signing the Federal Reserve Act. Political party-Democratic , He help
established the 19th amendment and he created the Federal Reserve
Act of 1913.

12. Franklin Roosevelt

13. Franklin Roosevelt
• Franklin Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the united states (1933-
1945). First term, 1933-1937 when Roosevelt was inaugurated March 4,
1933(32 days after Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany), the
U.S. was at the nadir of the worst depression in its history. A quarter of
the workforce was unemployed. Second term-1937-1941, there was the
Housing Act of 1937, a second Agricultural Adjustment Act and the Fair
Labor Standards Act of 1938, which created the minimum wage. When
the economy began to deteriorate again in late 1937, Roosevelt asked
Congress for 5 billion in WPA relief and public works funding. Third term,
1941-1945, Roosevelt`s third term was dominated by World War II.
Roosevelt slowly began re-armament in 1938 though he was facing
strong isolationist sentiment from leaders like Senators William Borah
and Robert Taft. Political Party: Democratic Party.

14. Jimmy Carter
• America did not invent human rights. In a very real sense human rights invented
America.(1924).

15. Jimmy Carter
• Jimmy Carter is an American politician who served as the 39th president of the
united states in 1977-1981. Also he was the recipient of the 2002 Nobel Peace
Prize, the only U.S. president to have received the prize after leaving office. In
office January 20, 1977-January 20, 1981. Democratic Party. He upheld the law and
the constitution. He was a champion of human rights and made them a central
focus of foreign policy, and he signed Amnesty for thousands of US citizens to be
able to return home. He also created the departments of Energy and Education.
He negotiated the salt II treaty. First, carter deregulated the trucking and airline
industries. Those were the beginning of the modern deregulation trend, and they
remain today perhaps the most clearly successful examples of deregulation in the
U.S. Second, Carter appointed Paul Volcker as chair of the fed. Carter pursued the
Camp David Accords, the Panama Canal Treaties, the second round of Strategic
Arms Limitation Talks II, and returned the Panama.

16. Harry Truman
• All my life, whenever it comes time to make a decision, I make it and forget about

17. Harry Truman
• Harry Truman was the 33rd president of the united states in 1945-1953.
Truman faced many challenges in domestic affairs. The disorderly postwar
reconversion of the economy of the united states was marked by serve
shortages, numerous strikes, and the passage of the Taft-Hartley Act over his
veto. Harry Truman built two A bombs that each cost a million dollars to
construct. He dropped them on the Japanese partially to justify spending all
that money to begin with, causing the utter devastation of two cities,
including radiation poisoning and genetic mutation of millions of innocent
people. In office April 12, 1945- January 20, 1953. First term- 1945-1949.
Truman had been vice president for only 82 days when president Roosevelt
died on April 12, 1945. Second term- 1949-1953, Truman`s inauguration was
the first ever televised nationally. His second term was grueling, in large
measure because of foreign policy challenges connected directly or indirectly
to his policy of containment. He quickly had to come terms with the end of
the American nuclear monopoly.

• George W. Bush is an American politician who served as the 43 president
of the united states, from 2001 to 2009. Before that, he was the 46th
Governor of Texas, having served from 1995 to 2000. In office from
January 20, 2001-January 20,2009. Republican Party. He worked actively
for his opponent in 2000 and 2004. No attacks since 9/11. He actually
took action against those that attacked us. He also stop partial birth
Abortion and cut the taxes across the board, cut the marriage raised
education standards and teaching standards. He invaded and declared
war on Iraq on the basis they had WMD`s, knowing this accusation to
false. America is over 3 trillion in debt because of his spending. He was
slow on delivering help for hurricane Katrina. He allowed the
imprisonment of many people without a trial in Guantanamo Bay
Detention Centre, which is against both American and international law
tax.

20. Dwight Eisenhower

21. Dwight Eisenhower
• Dwight Eisenhower was the 34th president of the united states, from 1953 until
1961. He was a five star general in the united states army. Republican, Eisenhower
entered the 1952 presidential race to counter the non-interventionism of Sen.
Robert A. Taft, and to crusade against “ Communism, Korea and corruption. In office
January 20, 1953- January 20, 1961. Political Party/ Republican. In February 1932,
Eisenhower was appointed to the staff of General Douglas Macarthur. Along with
George Patton, Eisenhower was involved in dealing with Bonus Army In Washington.
MacArthur, was later criticized for using tanks, dour troops of cavalry with drawn
sabers, and infantry with fixed bayonets, on the protesters. In January 1944,
Eisenhower and General Harold Alexander, Supreme Allied Commander in Italy,
ordered a new Casino offensive combined with an amphibious operation at Anzio, a
small port on the west coast Italy. The main objective of the operation was to cut
the communication lines of the German 10th Army and force a withdrawal from the
Gustav Line.
