1. ANIMAL CARE AND MODERN LIFE
The main factor in decreasing world fauna has been modern human society, operating either
directly through an excessive commercial hunting or, what is more disastrous, indirectly by
invasion or destruction of natural habitats.
Habitat conservation, the area where the animals feed, rest and reproduce. Of course this involves
much more than the simple preservation of the animal population, including the conservation of
land and vegetation cover.
Habitat pollution, Pollution of rivers and lakes, forest destruction and the indiscriminate use of
insecticides and herbicides. In many parts of the world, there has been extensive destruction of
forests and large areas of natural vegetation. The earliest forms of prohibitions and controls are
those that regulate hunting and fishing.
The main environmental problems are the following:
Water. Many experts believe that in the near future, water will be a product as precious as gold
and oil. Others claim that start wars to determine who owns water supplies. Currently, one third
of humans have inadequate access to clean, fresh water. Number is expected to rise to two thirds
by 2050. The causes of this situation are the population and industrial pollution.
Pollution. Soil, water and air are contaminated by chemicals that take years to dissolve. Most of
these chemicals are a result of our lifestyle and are created by industry and motor vehicles. Some
of the most common toxic metals, nitrates and plastics.
Overfishing. It is estimated that by 2050 there will be no more fish in the ocean. The extinction of
many species by overfishing due to increased demand for seafood.
Deforestation. Since 1990 it has destroyed more than half of the world's forests, and deforestation
continues. In addition, trees are dying at a rate never before seen.
Solve environmental problems
We should plant many trees, using the bicycle and ran for the city.
We should have an environmental idea. Because if we think for our son in the future. We will have
good wildlife and environmental. If we do not do nothing for environmental, we won´t have
natural resources. This will produce war. Finally extinct the animal, the plant, we don´t drink pure
water but people will drink pollution water. Finally human extinct.
