Technology In Louisiana The 2009 Annual (12th) Cyberstates Report by Tech America showed between 2002 and 2007: Louisiana was one of 10 fastest-growing states for high-tech employment Louisiana gained 4,349 high-tech jobs up 11.3%.  Louisiana moved from 49th to 47th in high tech employment  Louisiana ranked 7th in percentage gains Rest of country lost 71,863 high-tech jobs, down 1.2%.
Technology In Louisiana The 2010 Annual (13th) Cyberstates Report by Tech America showed in 2008: Number of technology jobs increased in Louisiana by 2%  Louisiana moved from 47th to 40th in high tech employment from 2007 Louisiana ranked 3rd among all states for tech job wage growth behind only Utah and Alabama  Wages increased by 1.4% High-tech payroll was 32nd in the country

Louisiana moved from 49th to 47th in high tech employment Louisiana ranked 7th in percentage gains Rest of country lost 71,863 high-tech jobs, down 1.2%.
