4. DAY Of THE DEATH
It is a Mexican tradition maintained on November 1 and 2 in
which the memory of the dead is honored. It originated as a
syncretism between Catholic celebrations as well as the various
customs of the indigenous people of Mexico. It is of pre-Hispanic
origin, in which the people celebrate and honor their deceased
relatives by placing altars or offerings on their graves or in
houses.
It is celebrated mainly in Mexico and in Latin American countries
such as Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala and to a lesser degree in
Central American countries and in the Andean region in South
America, from northwestern Argentina to the United States, in
areas where it exists. a large indigenous population. In 2008,
UNESCO declared the festival as Intangible Cultural Heritage of
Humanity in Mexico.

5. The Day of the Dead in the indigenous vision
implies the transitory return of the souls
of the deceased, who return home, to the
world of the living, to live with relatives
and to be nourished by the essence of the
food that is offered to them in the altars.

7. HALLOWEN
Its origins go back to Ireland more
than 3,000 years ago, since,
coinciding with the autumn solstice,
the peasants celebrated the end of
the season in the belief that during
that precise night, that of October
31, the spirits walked among the
alive.
