Organisation can easily create and mange all the server roles over the cloud
services. Active Directory,DNS,Exchage mail server, Terminal servers and many
more.(In some cases Nested Hyper-V)
All the Business continuity modules can be easy mange by the cloud services.
Replication, Synchronisation, Fail over, Clustering of Database, Essential data
backup and last but not the least effective Disaster recovery Solution.

services.
Mainly infrastructure services:
◦ Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)
◦ Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3)
◦ Amazon Lambda , Beanstalks (PaaS)
◦ Amazon Workspace
◦ Amazon Database services.

18. Virtual Machine
As you know you can use both Windows Server or Linux
You can install any software you want in the virtual machine. It’s your virtual
machine(Flexible Workload Support)
You can also setup a virtual private network to connect VMs to your on-premises
infrastructure
We have created demo virtual machine in Microsoft azure.
CSU University 2015
19. Demonstration of Virtual machine
Operating systems like Ubuntu, Red
hat, windows 2012.
Select the option as per your
requirement
Virtual machine configuration
Enter your credentials to log in to the
RDP session
Whole process has described in our
final project report.

20. Cloud Service
Build infinitely scalable apps and services
Support rich multi-tier architectures
Automated application management
CSU University 2015
21. Storage as service
Create Virtual Storage
Name your storage and select
location
Initially it provides 30 GB of data
storage
CSU University 2015
22. Web Sites
Build with ASP.NET, Node.js or PHP
Deploy in seconds with FTP
Start for free, scale up as your traffic grows
CSU University 2015
23. Platform as a service
Create new web application
Name the web app
It will create an URL of your web app
name
Help of the URL we can directly open
our web app
It will come up with different menu
(data storage, frame works)
Select the platform on which you
want to create you web app(Visual
studio)

24. Billing Information of Azure
You can check your billing and cost
information of your running services.
It gives $280 credit to use cloud
services in Microsoft Azure

26. AWS CLOUD SERVICES
Overview of AWS
Getting started with AWS
AWS EC2 Service – Infrastructure as a service
AWS S3 Bucket – Storage as a service
Elastic Breanstalk – Platform as a service
AWS Lambda – Platform as a service
AWS Database RDS – Software as a service
AWS Workspace – Desktop as a Service
AWS Billing Management – procurement management

27. Amazon Web Services
Amazon Web Services is a collection of remote computing
services, also called web services that together make up a cloud
computing platform in a low cost environment.
Amazon Web Services offers a broad set of global compute,
storage, database, analytics, application, and deployment services
that help organizations move faster, lower IT costs, and scale
applications.
These services are trusted by the largest enterprises and the
hottest start-ups to power a wide variety of workloads including:
web and mobile applications, IoT, data processing and
warehousing, storage, archive, and many others.

28. Sign UP – create an AWS Account for free
New AWS accounts receive 12 months
of AWS Free Tier access. The AWS
Free Tier is designed to enable you to
get hands-on experience with AWS at
no charge for one year after you sign
up. View AWS Free Tier Details »
Sign up for an AWS account
by clicking on this link
Enter your billing address and credit
card information (required to verify
your valid identity - your card will not
be charged unless your usage exceeds
the free usage tiers)
After we create an account and when
we login into AWS we can access the
AWS Cloud services on its console
page which contains all cloud services
that we can use.

29. AWS EC2 Services
Amazon EC2 provides a wide selection of
instance types optimized to fit different use
cases. Instance types comprise varying
combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and
networking capacity and give you the flexibility
to choose the appropriate mix of resources for
your applications. Each instance type includes
one or more instance sizes, allowing you to
scale your resources to the requirements of
your target workload.

30. Amazon S3 Bucket
Amazon easy Storage provider (Amazon S3), offers
developers and IT organizations with comfortable,
durable, primarily-scalable object storage.
With Amazon S3, you pay just for the storage you
clearly use. There is no minimum expense and no setup
fee.
Create new buckets
Upload new objects
Delete existing buckets and objects

31. AWS Database RDS – Software as a service
You can use Amazon DynamoDB to create a database
table that can store and retrieve any amount of data,
and serve any level of request traffic. You can scale
up or scale down your tables' throughput capacity
without downtime or performance degradation, and
use the AWS Management Console to monitor
resource utilization and performance metrics.
CSU University 2015
32. AWS Workspace – Desktop as a Service
Amazon WorkSpaces is a managed
desktop computing service in the cloud.
Using Amazon WorkSpaces allows you to
easily provision cloud-based desktops
and provide users access to the
documents, applications, and resources
they need from any supported device
including Windows and Mac computers,
Chromebooks.
with just a few clicks in the AWS
Management Console, you can deploy a
high-quality cloud desktop experience for
any number of users at a cost that is
competitive with traditional desktops.
CSU University 2015
33. Elastic Breanstalk, AWS Lambda – Platform as a
service
AWS Lambda
Run code without thinking about servers.
Pay for only the compute time you consume.
With Elastic Beanstalk, all we need to do is
select a platform as per the requirement
from the listed options for our application to
deploy.
It provides different platforms like Java, PHP,
Python.
CSU University 2015
34. AWS Billing Management – procurement
management
To check the billing and cost
management we have to click on
droop down on our account and
we have to select and click on
option Billing and Cost
Management.
After, we click on Cost and Billing
Management it will display the
information about an
organization’s use of existing
services’ cost and its billing
information.
