The health aspect of the HDI is measured by the life expectancy, as
calculated at the time of birth, in each country, and normalized so that
this component is equal to 0 when life expectancy is 20 and equal to 1
when life expectancy is 85.
According to the latest WHO data published in 2020 life expectancy in India is: Male
69.5, female 72.2 and total life expectancy is 70.8 which gives India a World Life
Expectancy ranking of 117.
5. AccessTo Education
Knowledge Aspect is measured by expected years of schooling of children at
school-entry age and mean years of schooling of the adult population.
Education has been one of the most integral drivers and outcomes of global
development
6. Standard Of Living
Income: The third parameter that is considered for determining a good standard of living is income and
it is determined by the gross national income per capita.
Per capita income is a measure of the amount of money earned per person in a nation or
geographic region. Per capita income is used to determine the average per-person income for an area
and to evaluate the standard of living and quality of lifeof the population.
