2. MAGAZINE COVER PHOTO SHOOT
After I started taking pictures for my Magazine cover I drew up some ideas as to what I wanted it to
look like. Having looked at the posters that had been published professionally I drew up the
conclusion that I should have a weapon present in the image. I decided I wanted use the Empire
magazine title. These are the photographs I took; I narrowed them down to four that I could
possibly use.

magazine cover to look like. I took some

position so that my Magazine Cover would
look like the one I set out in my drawing,
4. MAGAZINE COVER IDEAS AND
FEEDBACK
Once I had chosen I began editing them on a few
software applications. Picasa 3, Paint and Adobe
Photoshop. Magazine First Draft (Drawing) I decided
that my magazine should look like the limited edition
Empire magazine, whose front cover wholly centered on
the main film. An example of this is the James Bond on
the front cover,, I showed this magazine to 14 people, of
the 14, 12 felt that the organization of my magazine
cover was simple yet effective and that an addition of
stories that feature inside could overcrowd the image.
Participants gave me some general feedback on what
they thought about it. These are just a few of the
statements;“
The colors used do not conflict, however if you were
to add „stories inside‟ labels at the sides this may
steer the audience away from the main image” “
I think that the empire logo works well on it, I like
how the knife sits on top of the letter”
