YOU KNOW IT.
The word "Alleluia" or "Hallelujah" (from Hebrew הללו יה), which literally means "Praise ye Yah" or "Praise Jah, you people", is used in different ways in Christian liturgies. "Praise Jah" is a short form of "Praise Yahweh".
2. Psalm 103
Praise for the LORD’s Mercies
103 Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy
name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and
tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with
good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the
eagle’s.
3. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray
without ceasing, 18 in
everything give thanks;
for this is the will of God
in Christ Jesus for you.
