For our focus group we gathered a group of people and
explain our hypnosis to them so they could answer some
questions. Then we asked them a series of questions on a
questionnaire, and then we had a group discussion. Once they
had finished their questionnaire we then discussed things that
were not included in the questionnaire but we still let them use
the questionnaire to refer back to. To do this is tuck us about
one hour, and we were prepared for it to take something like
this so we decided to do this after school so we had enough
time. We got many new ideas and ways to help us improve our
idea and we also intend to make some changes to ensure that
it appeals to our audience. Making a focus group helped us a
great deal because it helped us realise that some things do not
fit with the conventions of a thriller, and they also helped us
think of other conventions that we should maybe consider.

We also filmed the focus group taking place,
which tuck us about 10-15 minutes. Everyone
had some good idea and some good
criticisms that our group hadn't thought of.
