3. To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter to express my interest to be interviewed for the position of medical assistant
within the medical office. I am a recent college graduate with an associate's degree in medical assisting.
I am confident that my skills, education and hands on experience would make me a qualified candidate

patient's history with EMR, measuring vital signs, administering injections and medication, preparing
blood work for laboratory tests.
In addition to my experience, I am trained in using the EMR Allscripts software, and MS Office. I
feel that I would be a good fit in your office, because I am a professional hard worker, with strong ethics,
and a desire to be part of a team working to give good customer service, and patient care all while
maintaining confidentiality.
Enclosed is a copy of my resume, which provides more detail on why I believe I would be a good

It is my pleasure to write a letter of reference for my former student, Kate-Lynn Burbo.
Kate-Lynn and I had classes together several times while she was working toward her
degree in medical assisting at the Community College of Vermont, where I work as an
instructor.
Kate-Lynn is a responsible and reliable person and a pleasure to work with. Her
assignments were always timely and well-prepared and she received high grades for her
excellent work. She is well-suited to working with the public and will undoubtedly be an
asset to any employer.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss Kate-Lynn’s attributes further, please
do not hesitate to contact me at the number or address above.
Sincerely yours,

8. To Whom It May Concern,
Kate-Lynn was an engaged student who was always eager to learn
new information. She was very detailed oriented. Her class work was
submitted on time and always at the college level.
She contributed during class discussion and was available to help her
peers during class lab time. There were some obstacles that she
encountered but overcame them with maturity and professionalism.
I feel that she would be an asset to any medical practice and
encourage her to continue her education in the medical field.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Jane Doe
