Kate
Azar
is
a
philanthropy
advisor

the
Founder

CEO

LLC.
She

She
brings

Prior
to
establishing
Social
Good
Strategies,
Kate
served
as
an
Account
Executive
at
RALLY
(formerly
Griffin|Schein),
a
social
cause
campaign
and
communications
firm
in
Los
Angeles,
as
well
as
Deputy
Head
of
Press,
Policy
and
Public
Affairs
for
the
British
Consulate
General,
Los
Angeles.
She's
held
fundraising,
events
and
program
management
positions
with
the
US
State
Department’s
Foreign
Press
Center
in
Washington,
DC,
the
UCI
Center
for
Citizen
Peacebuilding
and
the
USC
Center
on
Public
Diplomacy.
She
is
also
the
co-‐founder
of
The
Olive
Tree
Initiative,
an
award-‐
winning
conflict
analysis
and
resolution
program
that
uses
experiential
education
to
equip
students
and
communities
with
the
training
and
experiences
necessary
to
better
negotiate
and
solve
conflicts.
Kate
has
a
B.A.
in
International
Studies
from
the
University
of
California,
Irvine
and
an
M.A.
in
Public
Diplomacy
from
the
University
of
Southern
California.
She
was
recently
nominated
for
the
OC
Business
Journal
Women
in
Business
Award.
Kate
supports
many
causes
but
is
particularly
passionate
about
global
peace,
conflict
resolution,
public
diplomacy,
mentoring
and
women's
economic
and
workplace
issues.
She
still
actively
supports
the
Olive
Tree
Initiative,
she
is
a
committee
member
of
the
National
Association
of
Women
Business
Owners
and
sits
on
the
Board
of
the
Center
for
Regional
Engagement.

has
