1. Greetings Independent Contractors,
I’ve been getting settled for couple of weeks now and felt it was time
to introduce myself. In 1974, my eyes were opened to the beautiful city of
La Crosse. Though a little blurred at first, my infant eyes found clarity and
delight. It was in this city that I received all the wonders of my youth. My
somewhat mischievous childhood was carefully guided by mom and dad,
John and Judy Tillman.
Over the next 19 years I was schooled at First Evangelical Lutheran
and Luther High School. It was during this time I found a passion for vocal
and instrumental music.
After graduation from H.S. in 1993, I took the college path to
Northwestern College in Watertown, WI and Martin Luther College in New
Ulm, MN. It was in New Ulm where I met my companion for life, Michele
Tillman, and made that lifelong promise. In 1999, I decided that enough
was enough and graduated.
From 1999 through the present I took on many different life roles:
Ordained Minister, Teacher, Food Production, Telemarketing, Management,
and Husband / Father. I’ve worked for Churches, Schools, Kwik Trip,
Centurylink, and now the La Crosse Tribune.
Even though my employment history reflects a rainbow of colors, one
thing in my life remains the same, and that is the love for my family. I have
two boys, Karl John (14) and Isaiah Charles (13), that I hold dear. Karl’s at
Luther and Isaiah’s at First Lutheran taking the same path as Dad took.
During down time I play video games, ride pedal bikes, and watch
movies. My wife loves to garden and run.
If you ever need anything for your business or just want someone to
talk too, please contact me. I work hard, put in long hours, and contribute
whatever is needed to make your business successful.
Sincerely,
Karl Tillman Circulation District Manager
