Foong was a Nanyang Scholar and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. He joined PSA as a Engineer that supervise the maintenance work of port equipments. Besides handling monthly and annual departmental budget, Foong was in charged of new Quay Cranes Commissioning. Foong worked as a mechanical engineer soon after and was responsible for designing M&E system for residential and commercial building. In the span of three years, his project sum amounted to RM100mil. Currently, Foong is the Business Development Director of Lingcod Malaysia. He is working towards building a ecosystem for Wechat GO Malaysia and responsible for the business expansion of company.
