Senior Architect at TIBCO
Activities: As a senior IT architect working for TIBCO professional
services, I was responsible for the design of IT solutions
(applications and systems) for various customers. The designs
were in the area of Integration and Cloud computing.
The project were carried out in the Netherlands and abroad.
Furthermore I did a number of architectural / technical reviews for
TIBCO customers. Finally (as an architect), in a number of cases, I
lead the development effort of IT projects.

Activities: As a consulting IT architect at IBM Global Services I was
responsible for the design of IT solutions (applications and systems)
for various customers. The designs were in the area of Integration,
security and infrastructure.
Furthermore I did a number of architectural / technical reviews for
IBM customers. Finally (as an architect), in a number of cases, I
lead the development effort of IT projects.

April 2016 May 2016: Banking, UK
Functional and security design of a REST and SOAP gateway environment
for a British cooperative bank.
Activities: As an architect I participated in the design of a SOAP and REST
gateway environment. I created the functional designs for the customer
related services and finished
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used: TIBCO
BW6, EMS, TIBCO APIx. From a security point of view the OAuth, SAML
and WSS standards were used extensively.
January 2016 April 2016: Healthcare, Finland
Functional and infrastructural design of a integration environment for a
Finnish Healthcare organization.
Activities: As a head architect I was responsible for the design of an
application that enabled the customer to transfer data gathered during
medical studies to the backend systems of the sponsors of these studies. In
addition to that lead the effort to design the infrastructure required for this
application.
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used: TIBCO
BW6, TIBCO MFT, TIBCO APIx, TrialMax en Linux.
November 2015 Current: Banking, The Netherlands
High Level functional and infrastructural design of a workflow application
for a large bank
Activities: I was responsible for the redesign of workflow application of a
large Dutch bank. After the high level design was finished, I remained
involved reviewing the detailed design created by a system integrator.
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used: TIBCO
TIBCO FOS, BW5, EMS, iProcess and Hawk.

Review of a migration project
Activities: I was responsible for the review of a migration project. The aim of
the project was to create a new TIBCO based integration environment and to

migrate a number of adapters (implemented using other technology) to the
new environment.
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used: TIBCO
BW5, EMS and Hawk.

Review and Quality Assurance of the TIBCO environment
Activities: I was responsible for the review of the TIBCO environment at a
leading telecom provider. After that I lead the effort to solve a number of
issues found during the review.
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used: TIBCO
BW5, ActiveSpace, AMX BPM, EMS.
September 2014 December 2015: Bank, The Netherlands
Functional design of a number of online mortgages products
Activities: I was responsible for the redesign of the integration layer of the
Mortgages department. This integration layer was transformed from SOAP to
Restful and furthermore prepared for omni channel use.
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used: TIBCO
BW5 (and pilot in BW6), TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Substation, Cassandra, JAVA
(API’s), .Net.

Design and implementation of a cloud environment.
Activities: I was responsible for the design and implementation of TIBCO
cloud environment. Simultaneously a number of applications were developed
to automate provisioning and to enable self service.
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used:
TIBCO Silver Fabric, TIBCO AMX BPM, TIBCO Active Matrix
BusinessWorks, TIBCO AMX3, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO HAWK, Linux, IBM

Activities: I was responsible for the design and implementation of TIBCO
Business Gateway. This gateway was setup to enable business
communication with various business partners of the bank.
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used:
TIBCO BusinessConnect.
November 2011 May 2013: Railway, The Netherlands
Design of integration environment for a Dutch organization responsible for
the management of railway infrastructure.
Activities: I was responsible for a process aimed at creating standardized
functional and infrastructural building blocks to be used as part of an
integration environment. Furthermore I was responsible for the definition of
work products to be used during integration projects.
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used: TIBCO
Active Matrix Business Works, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO HAWK, Linux, Windows.
February 2009 august 2011: National governmental organization
Creation of an integration environment for a national governmental
organization.
Activities: As an architect I was responsible for the creation of an integration
architecture for a national governmental organization. From 2010 on, I also
lead a team that created SOA mediations and services (based on the
previously created design). These mediations were built in order to link a
national register to a CRM and financial system. Furthermore the mediations
were used to connect the governmental organization to other governmental
and commercial organizations.
Technology: During this project the following technologies were used:
Datapower.

Review of the integration infrastructure of a national governmental
organization.
Activities: As an architect I was responsible for a technical review of the
integration infrastructure of a national governmental organization. Based on
this review, recommendations were defined regarding the setup and the
managed operation of the integration environment.

January 2009 December 2010: pension fund.
Design of a SOA infrastructure for a pension fund.
Activities: As an architect I was responsible for the creation of an
infrastructure design for a SOA environment to be used by a pension fund.

Websphere Enterprise Service Bus, Websphere MQ, TIBCO, AIX, WSRR,
Microsoft biztalk.
March 2006 June 2008: Insurance Company.
A number of SOA projects for an insurance company.
Activities: As the lead architect I was responsible for the design and the
implementation of the following SOA project:
The design and implementation of a SOA infrastructure for the life
and non life departments of the insurance company.
The design and implementation of a number of SOA interfaces for
the non life department.
