Julius Schulz-Zander is a research assistant in Prof. Anja Feldmann's Internet Network Architectures group, pursuing a Ph.D. in CS from the Technical University of Berlin. His is broadly interested in networking, wireless communications, and embedded systems. His current research is centered around bringing SDN into IEEE 802.11-based networks. Julius received his Diploma degree in CS from TU Berlin in 2011. In 2009, he spent the Summer in Prof. Nick McKeown's group at Stanford University, where he ported OpenFlow to OpenWrt.
