15. DESIGNING THE TRAINING CONCEPT
➤ Need: To train the teachers new self-
motivated methods and tools
➤ The training title ”Creating and Coaching
Self-Motivated Learning Organisation”
➤ Goal for the training: Ignite learners in
real experiental team learning process,
chaos and dialogue. Help learning self-
motivated learning concepts and tools
➤ Give a model of authentic experiental
learning process - coaching adapts to the
learning process of the learners
➤ 5-day training
➤ 70 local teachers from different vocational
schools
➤ 2 coaches, 1 interpreter
16.
17. LSP IN THE CONCEPT
➤ LSP as a part of the training,
the goals for the LSP
workshop on Mon & Tue
➤ Skills building
➤ Building individual learning
contracts
➤ Building team learning

18. What is Learning Contract ?
• WHAT: A personal development plan for
examining your development in light of your
history, the present moment, and the future
• WHEN: At the onset of any process, e.g.
Studying, a new vocation, or a life-style
change
• HOW: 1) Emphasize that it is a CONTRACT,
where the person agrees with him or herself
and the group on achieving the set goals and
overcoming any challenges that may come
their way
2) Guide them to make the contract in free
form: everyone chooses method that feels
natural.
3) The following questions can make
it easier to write the contract. Choose a
suitable period of time. The contract should
at least include the goal, how to achieve
it,
and how to monitor progress.
Where have I been ?
Where am I now ?
Where do I want to
go ?
How will I get there ?
How will I know when
I get there ?

21. STARTING THE PROCESS
➤ Laying Weak Foundation - to
change direction of knowledge
and to activate teams to take
ownership of the learning
➤ Setting up 11 teams of 5
24. Themes & Quotes of 1st day’s Learnings
• ”Happiness & Joy in Learning” (Emotion in learning)

CONTROLLED CHAOS
➤ On Day 2, after LSP
Workshops we gave a birth-
giving challenge for the teams
➤ Without Legos, at first they
didn’t know what to do..
➤ No directions, too little
information from the coaches
➤ They couldn’t deliver any
solutions to given challenges
31. SOME NEW CLUES
➤ Day 3 Coaches threw few
more concepts: workshop on
motivation, coaches role,
design thinking, experiental/
experimental process
➤ Experimentation on new
coaching role and having an
independent training for the
teams
➤ Teams evolve
➤ 2nd try for a Birth-giving on
Day 4.
32. Teams solve the challenge and shareTeam resolve the challenge

”Colourful Tree”7 branches
1. Prepared coach
2. Engaging methods
3. Dialogue classrooms
4. Brave communication
5. Experiences
6. Summarizing
7. Results (evaluation, encouraging)
34. Teams solve the challenge and share
You can tell a lot about meaning and emotion without understanding the language
INSIGHTS
If something is broken, it is the learners need to fix it
many times it is a sign of learning if the answer is wrong
you can’t change mental models by telling what is the right answer
LSP helped to ignite the experiental and experimental learning process
Learning architecture and communication IS THE KEY
Like Kimi could say..THEY GOT IT AND FEEDBACK WAS GREAT
The (mental) model the coach is setting of the whole experience is crucial
