2. Intro
• The following photos are taken from
Paulharries.com the website of a
photographer who has taken pictures for
Kerrang, and I have chosen the ones of groups
as that is the type of band that my main
article will feature therefore there will be
more pictures of them than anything

6. Covers-Analysis
• The previous covers all use posed pictures of bands that are
crammed and close together and you can barley see the
background because they are all covers they’re all portrait.
• They also all have more than one picture between 4 and 7
including the main picture.
• These are all things I should use for my cover pictures as they
have worked well for Kerrang and the style fits with each band
as well as the rock/metal genre

10. Article Analysis
• All are posed and mostly naturalistic which is something I
intend to do.
• The background is either rough and dirty (like 1&3)or
completely blank(like 2) I will probably use the completely
blank one.
• The colour scheme fits the band in the picture probably
because it was chosen by the band or the photographer told
the band to dress up like they were going to perform a gig and
he fit the colours around that or contrasted it I will probably
choose to contrast as standing out and being different fits
with the rock/metal genre
