PhD in Microbiology from Universidad de Extremadura. Experience in both research and teaching in Microbiology (from 2003). Participation in several research projects (both national and international). Funded stays abroad: University of Minnesota (MN, USA; two years), Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR, India; two months) and Universität Würzburg (Germany; two months). Author of several papers published in relevant scientific journals. Coordination of both national and international scientific events and activities. Now in charge for management and leadership of RDI programs in the Dept. of Health and Social Services at the Government of Extremadura (Spain). T.
