Across the canal lined with runners to strollers; Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis I am
honored with education as a student and faculty instructor.
Helping neighborhoods is the central theme of Inspire Indiana Inc.’s creation. Helping Hoosiers beat
the heat or by providing free phone cards to troops overseas, community connection is our purpose of
existence.
Since 2006 I call home in the Historic Herron-Morton Neighborhood. Community based efforts by the
Herron Morton Home Owner Association have lead to a ‘domino effect’ of revitalization and economic
growth in residential market from dorm rooms to work-live lofts.

2. 2007 Indianapolis Business Journal; Class of Forty under 40, at the age of 24 (youngest to date)
Youngest Executive Management/Cabinet member for the Indiana Secretary of State, Indiana

Transparent objective data reflects; record low expenses, record high productivity, and improved
employee morale while I held the head of the Operations Division. The Operations Division manages
all staffing/HR functions and policy for 83 positions on 4 location, as well as managing the activity of
appropriations, federal grants, E-Based Fees, and Filing Fees designated by Indiana Statute
Pioneered bridges between the Kelley School of Business and the Business Services Division to help
prepare business graduates for a competitive global market.

Fmr. Indiana University President Dr. Adam Herbert recognized the student culture I inspired at one of
the Nation’s first urban campus (1969) once known as a ‘commuter college’.
Youth Mentor for the Indiana University Alumni Association, and asked as the need demands to assist
with mock interviews, resume preparation, and life planning.
Perspective
Connecting stakeholders from Government, Political, Academia, and the man on the street; carried the
torch of Corporate Sponsorship Chair for the IU Foundation Riley Hospital for Children ‘Dance
Marathon’. Fundraising efforts doubled from one year prior.
