Main roles and responsibilities
Organise trainings for beneficiaries and where necessary in consultation with the PSO bring in external expertise to conduct
trainings in relevant fields in line with the project proposal.
In line with agreed criteria, conduct beneficiary targeting for different activities of the project.
Closely follow up the work of the Lead Farmers particularly focusing on their support and interaction with the community.
Work with the gender officer to sensitise the targeted community on gender issues
To ensure HIV & AIDS is mainstreamed in all project activities
To distribute inputs to beneficiaries in line with the guidance from PSO

includes food security and nutrition, gender equality and HIV/AIDS, entrepreneurship and disaster risk reduction.
Managing and supervising all field extension workers under each word ensuring that monthly plans are developed, agreed,
implemented and reports submitted on time.
Providing technical support to the field extension workers in the delivery of specific group’s activities.
